This was for my Digital Concepts class. We had to photograph different objects of the same shape and create a grid in Photoshop. Then we had to place letters (purposely not spell anything) on top of the image that resembled the shapes.

I had to do an oil pastel drawing for my Illustration class in response to an article about NYC in the summer time.
Sorry the photo quality. One day I will buy a camera :)

Oil paints!

Hello!

I have some oil paintings that need to be photographed and posted on here. I have yet to do that because they are either at my parents house or in the studio or still wet.

I will admit, they aren’t that great. I’ve never used oil paints before so it’s been a struggle to get use to the medium. I’ll post all of them because this is the portfolio of an art student, so I will be honest. I am proud of one them (even though the Rives BFK ripped when I took it off the Masonite board. It is fixable, no worries!).

I’m enjoying the class so far and I’m excited to show all of you!

Ellie
